TRACE TEENS - WHAT TO BRING LISTS


  • Winterfest - Gatlinburg, TN

    Winterfest is a youth rally where appox 16,000 teens with gather together in Gatlinburg, TN. We'll be staying at a chalet very close to downtown Gatlinburg.

    WHAT TO BRING:
    -Bible* (Paper copy, not electronic).

    -Appropriate clothing for 4 days and 3 nights. It could be cold!     
    -Towel & Toiletries (Soap, shampoo, tooth brush and toothpaste, deodorant, etc.)
    -Money for food & extras.  (You will need enough $$$ for 7-8 meals, most will be fast food.)

    -Pillow & sleeping bag or blanket.

    -Snacks & breakfast food (We won't stop for breakfast in the mornings.)


    WHAT NOT TO BRING:
    No Alcohol, Tobacco, or any type of Drug.
    *Your Cell phone does not count as a Bible.
    Note:  Please bring everything on the list.

  • Impact Summer Camp - Nashville, TN

    WHAT TO BRING: (Please pack light)
    Bring a sleeping bag or blanket, single fitted sheet, pillow, personal items, towels, regular camp clothes for 3 nights and 4 days for Junior & 4 nights and 5 days for Senior, $20 for a room key deposit (refunded at checkout), personal spending money for pizza and snacks (if needed & optional), money for a fast food meal on the way home for JR, on the way up for SR.  (They can use the $20 they will get from their room key). It will be hot so dry-fit clothing and a seal-able water bottle are highly recommended. A Bible and you may also want to bring a notebook. You may also want to bring a tennis racket, ball glove, raquetball racket, frisbee.


    WHAT NOT TO BRING:
    Laser pointer or things that are super annoying.  Radios, TV’s, laser pointers, electronics such as ipods, DVD players, Ipads, computers etc. are not permitted. These items can easily be lost or stolen. Alcohol, drugs (your counselor should be notified of any prescription drugs you are taking), fireworks, or any type of weapon is not allowed on campus. 

  • Summer Retreat - White Water rafting - Ocoee, TN

    WHAT TO BRING:
    The cost is usually around $100 and a rafting waiver will need to be filled out.  Download one here.

    Bug Spray, $$$ for food (6 or 7 meals), breakfast will be provided both mornings, you may bring water drinks and snacks if you like (We will make a trip to the store once there so they can by stuff there too.) Hygiene Stuff (Toothbrush, brush, contact case, DEODORANT, etc.), Old Shoes, Sandals or River Shoes, Shorts, T-Shirts, & Other Clothes*, Sleeping Bag, Pillow, & Single sheet, Small garbage bag for wet clothes, Sun Glasses, Sun Screen, Swim Clothes**, Towels (2), fan (optional), stuff for outdoor fun. You may also want to bring your hammock. Bug spray may be useful and possible a camp chair. Lastly, don't forget your Bible. (A real Bible, not just the one on your phone.

    *   When we are not Rafting or Tubing, normal clothing will be worn.
    ** While we are Rafting of Tubing, shorts and t-shirts will be worn.

  • Fall Retreat @ Camp Winnataska

    WHAT TO BRING
    •$$$ for one fast food meal,
    •Bible
    •Clothes for weekend (play clothes, sleeping clothes, outside clothes, jacket, rain jacket, winter hat, scarf, etc. No Church Clothes Needed). Pillow and Sleeping Bag or single sheets & blankets.

    •Towel(s), •Tennis Shoes, •Flashlight (Headlamp works best).
    •Toiletries - (Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, deodorant, contact case & solution etc.)


    WHAT NOT TO BRING:

    No Alcohol, Tobacco, or any type of drugs.
    No Electronics (CD, DVD, MP3 Players, radios, alarm clocks etc.)
    No Cell Phones!!! (This is the only event all year that we ask you to give this up, please cooperate with us on this!!!)
