WEEKLY BULLETIN

FEBRUARY 17, 2019

WELCOME

Today we are continuing in our message series, “Connect”. Everyone needs help making it to significant places in life, and there’s not a more significant place than being right with God. What part do we play? This is the question that we are asking ourselves this month. Because discipleship is more than being someone who likes Jesus. It's becoming more like Jesus. And Jesus was always trying to connect with the least likely person. Glad that you’re here.

PHOTO DIRECTORY

Please make it a priority to get your photo taken this month either before or after worship. The form to update your information can be updated ahead of time via the link on Facebook and sent out by Jennifer in an email. We will also have people to help complete the forms in the breezeway.

MISSIONS

We’re thankful that Chuck Stewart and Stuart Schenk returned safely from the BAJA last week. Please continue to pray for summer trip to the Baja as it quickly approaches. We hope many of you are making plans to attend this year. Brady Johnson is in Tanzania, please keep him in your prayers as well. To God be the glory for what he’s doing through our members in these mission points.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT 6:30PM

We are wrapping up our series on how to overcome being offended this week. We’ve been in a study as we look at ways to overcome an offence.  A lot of people get trapped and are unable to move beyond an offence. This is not what God wants for us. This week we talk about what we do if we feel offended by God. Hope to see you there, bring someone with you.

T.R. SIMMONS PROGRAM

We are collecting items for our T.R. Simmons Pantry Drive. Items listed at the collection table in the foyer. Monetary donations can be given to   Summer. WHAT WE’RE TEACHING...

This month we are learning all about the Miracles of Jesus.

This week we will be spending a lot of time talking about Jesus feeding the 5,000.

Here are some questions you can be asking your kids at home to keep the conversation going!

* What is the big idea this week? (Jesus can provide for our needs)

* What did Jesus use to feed all the people? (2 fish and 5 loaves of bread)

* Why do you think Jesus did this miracle?

* How can you thank God for the things He has already blessed you with?
