WEEKLY BULLETIN

OCTOBER 20, 2019

WELCOME…

Good Morning and welcome to Trace Church. Today we continue in our Message Series in 2 Corinthians 3. Have you thought about what’s keeping you from knowing God fully? What’s standing between you and God so that you’re not able to see or experience His glory? Paul explains why Moses had to wear a veil after he had been in the presence of God and how only in Christ the veil is taken away. There is freedom in the Spirit and it’s through the Spirit that we are being transformed into the likeness of Jesus. Glad that you’re here today.

TODAY IS “WORSHIP IN PINK” SUNDAY…

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Today has been designated by area churches as “Worship in Pink” Sunday in support of those who are fighting breast cancer & in honor of those who are survivors.

WHAT WE’RE TEACHING:

This month’s theme: “THE GREAT ESCAPE"

- THE BIG IDEA: God can do anything

- THE BIBLE: The plagues and Passover Exodus 7

- OCTOBER MEMORY VERSE: COLOSSIANS 3:20 & PSALM 46:10

• Why was the burning bush so unusual? (It didn’t burn up.)

• Who was Moses talking to in the bush? (God.)

• What did God tell Moses to do? (Go tell Pharaoh to free the Israelites from

    Egypt.)

• Was Moses quick to go and do what God told him to do? (No, Moses made up

excuses about why he couldn’t go.)

• What two miracles did God give Moses to use to make Pharaoh believe that

God had sent him? (The staff turned into a snake and a skin disease that healed

when he put his hand in his pocket.)
