WEEKLY BULLETIN

JANUARY 21, 2018

WELCOME…………..…………

Welcome to the Trace. One of the things that we love about the Trace experience is how friendly everyone is with each other. We love to greet each other just short of a “holy kiss”. The flu monster is wreaking havoc with so many right now so the Germ-X is out in the lobby, and we know that this isn’t a complete answer to the problem but it helps minimize the spread of flu bug. Today we continue our Sermon Series in Joshua. Glad that you are here!!

“KITCHEN SHOWER”………

Sunday, January 28th, please bring unwrapped kitchen items (no food) to help stock the kitchen of the new Youth Advocacy Program house here in Jasper (details of this program is on our website). A wish list is in foyer and online at Walmart.com

Use the link to see the YAP Kitchen Wishlist. Click here

*Y.A.P. is a nationally recognized, nonprofit organization committed exclusively to serving deep end, multi-need, and cross system youth and families. The house is located downtown on Delaware Avenue and will be used as a safe place for foster children to visit their biological parents and as a place for parents who are working with DHR to regain custody of their children to come learn basic living skills. With a working kitchen, teens and adults can learn about budgeting, meal prep, safety...ect.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT………

We will study the subject of Heaven on Wednesday Nights @ 6:30 pm.  Join us as we praise God in song, receive encouragement from His Word, speak to our Father in prayer and enjoy the fellowship of our church family.

KIDS WORSHIP

Kids worship is a fun-filled time of worship for 3 yr olds through 2nd graders. If you are a visitor, just have your child follow the kids with Lindsay, our Children’s Minister, downstairs during service when dismissed.

WHAT’S HAPPENING

Hello Families! With the New Year comes a newness in the Trace Kids’ Ministry. In children’s church, ages 3-2nd grade, the kiddos are hearing about the miracles Jesus performed here on Earth. In addition to Kids’ Worship, I want to encourage you to have your children stay for the Bible class hour because that is when they will be able to apply what they’ve heard and seen during the worship time. And beginning this Wednesday, I will be presenting the children with “What’s in the Bible?” - a one year plan in which every child will know the Bible and all of its amazing stories from the beginning to the end. Every week, your child will learn a story from the Bible, be presented with memory verses, and have something to take-home for practical application. I look forward to working with your children and reminding them that GOD is their Father and Jesus Christ is their Savior.
